Pas aussi bon que je m'y attendais mais bon la perfection n'existe pas... faut connaitre un peu son baseball pour savoir apprécier sinon vous allez manquer des bouts.

Je ne suis pas amateur de baseball du tout alors disons que ce film partait déjà avec une prise, en plus c'est encore un autre film 'vécu' alors coté originalité du scénario je donne une deuxième prise, et j'ai trouvé que ce film était ben trop long, 3 ieme prise... Reeetiré. Seul point positif c'est du coté interprétation je dirais que c'était bien.

Néophyte dans le monde du baseball, je n'ai pu apprécier toutes les subtilités de ce très beau film. Malgré tout, j'ai aimé le baseball du temps qu'on en avait à Montréal. J'ai retrouvé cette ambiance passionnante de la foule rassemblée pour leur équipe. Pour les amateurs surtout, pour les passionnés d'archives et de pointage et de joueurs et d'équipes, vous allez en avoir pour votre argent. Très beau film.

Si comme moi vous haïssez le baseball, un sport ennuyant et tout le reste, ne faites pas comme moi, n'hésitez pas à regarder 'Moneyball'. Un drame sportif se déroulant dans les coulisses du baseball, sans être tout à fait sur le baseball mais sur les rouages de cette industrie plus que centenaire, une excellente tension dramatique, une bonne mise en contexte, un fait vécu interprété par Pitt (magistral), Hill convainquant (en contre-emploi), Hoffman toujours excellent (en second rôle, malheureusement) et j'ai vu un film que je n'ai pas regretté avoir vu.

Bon, on pourrait reprocher au film de na pas avoir assez développé certains personnages, mais on passe malgré cela un très bon moment. Un film de baseball sans baseball (ou presque) et avec un rythme beaucoup plus rapide que le baseball, quoi de mieux? Excellentes performances des deux acteurs principaux.

Bon film oui, mais l'amateur de baseball en moi est très déçu de certains éléments du film. Oui c'est bien beau tout le concept et je suis de ceux qui adhèrent au principe des statistiques. Cependant, l'histoire évoque à mon avis seulement des joueurs secondaires au succès des A's d'Oakland en 2002. Aucune mention du trio de lanceur partant dévastateur (Barry Zito, Tim Hudson et Mark Mulder) Ensuite, aucune mention des deux frappeurs Miguel Tejada et Eric Chavez. Ce sont surtout ces 5 joueurs là qui ont contribué en plus grande partie au succès. Et je défie quiconque de trouver une fois dans le film où ces joueurs là sont mentionnés. C'est bien beau David Justice ou Scott Hatteberg, mais il ne faut pas virer fou non plus.

Je suis loin d'être un fan de baseball et pourtant je n'ai pas vu passer le temps. En fait, le baseball est plus un prétexte pour démontrer que l'intelligence est plus précieuse que l'argent. Brad Pitt est excellent. J'ai trouvé la version française très bien faite.

Un bon drame! Moi qui déteste le baseball, et qui ne l'aimeras probablement jamais, j'ai trouvé l'approche très intéressante. Brad Pitt deviendra un jour le meilleur acteur de notre génération. Jonah Hill ne laisse personne de glace non plus dans le rôle.

Ce n'était qu'une longue et interminable explication d'une méthode de probabilité mathématique. Il n'y avait pas d'histoire et l'ambiance était aussi "brune" que les images du film. Si l'on s'intéresse au fonctionnement interne d'une ligue de baseball, on y trouvera son compte. Sinon, n'allez pas vous ennuyer!

C'est le fun de voir l'histoire des a s d oakland avec un budget limité, mais avec une philosophie qui donne une deuxième chance aux gens et qui croient en eux. C'est plaisant de voir une philosophie différente qui rapporte des résultats et un Brad Pitt à son meilleur dans un rôle de directeur général un peu spécial mais efficace. Seul reproche, un peu long sans plus, merci.

Une histoire solide à la Cendrillon. Rendu mécaniquement cependant. On ne ressent pas toute l’émotion que devrait susciter l’exploit. Monotone et superficiel. Monotone: à l’image du sport qu’il décrit, le baseball. Je dois me révéler ici, la seule fois que je suis allé voir jouer les majeurs, je me suis endormi pendant 7 manches. Superficiel: les personnages autres que Pitt ne sont que des figurants, même le magicien qui est à la source de ce miracle. Attendre le DVD.

Bon film de baseball. Un des bons que j'ai vus, et je ne suis pas un fan de baseball, loin de là. Alors, ce film peut intéresser même ceux qui n'aiment pas le baseball. Brad Pitt est vraiment devenu un excellent acteur, avec les années. Je suis par contre soulagé de ne pas avoir été au courant de cette histoire, parce qu'elle est très récente. Une personne au courant du baseball serait déjà au courant des points majeurs du film: les séries, la séquence victorieuse. Et je crois que ça enlève beaucoup au suspense. Mais comme je n'étais pas au courant, j'ai vécu le suspense dans le film. Moi j'ai aimé, mais je comprendrais si plusieurs personnes ne l'aimaient pas. Mais en même temps, qui irait voir un film de baseball s'il déteste les sports?

Du bonbon... Non seulement M. Pitt aura fort probablement une nomination pour meilleur acteur aux Oscars dans ce film, mais aussi que le film est bien ficelé, bien dirigé, le reflet d'une réalité dans un sport professionnel rajoute encore plus à la crédibilité du film, à voir sans hésitation.

Brad Pitt joue très bien le rôle de Billy Beane (DG des A's) Nous ne pouvons passer sous silence le départ des Expos suivant les efforts déployés par l'organisation des A's d'Oakland pour compétitionner année après année les riches équipes du baseball. Je n'ai jamais regardé ma montre, film impressionnant, beaucoup d'émotions, scénario enlevant, le jeu des acteurs est convaincant, j'hésitais à aller le voir en français mais l'adaption en français est très crédible (c'est la langue française d'ici) Sur la page de présentation du film, c'est indiqué: "Parents: Langage vulgaire", je ne suis pas d'accord avec cette mention. Pendant quelques moments, j'ai pensé aux Expos de 1994 quand la grève les avait arrêté. Un film à voir!

Je ne suis pas amateur de baseball et pourtant Moneyball a su me captiver en montrant des aspects de ce jeu qui vont bien au delà de ce qui se passe sur le terrain. On nous montre à quel point le manque de ressources peut amener au dépassement. Un film intelligemment construit, sans excès, très humain.

Si comme moi vous aimez les chiffres et le sport, vous serez vraiment choyés par ce film! L'histoire est très intéressante surtout lorsqu'on connait l'historique des joueurs impliqués et surtout de ce qu'ils sont devenus 10 ans plus tard! Par conséquent, j'affirme que d'être un grand fan de baseball aide beaucoup à l'appréciation du film quoique pas nécessaire toutefois! Brad Pitt est très crédible dans son rôle. Seul hic... il y a quelques longueurs dans des scènes avec sa fille non nécessaires au film!
