Assez surprenant et désopilant par moments! Bien sûr, ce n'est pas une pièce maîtresse dans le cinéma contemporain mais puisque le but de ce film est de faire rire, cela a marché avec moi car il y a des scènes tout simplement tordantes! 5 points avec 1 point de boni pour la prestation de l'actrice Irma P. Hall et un autre point additionnel pour les fous rires hilarants! 7/10.

Ah ah! Non mais, c'que j'ai pu aimer ce film! Au tout début, j'arrivais pas à accrocher, j'ai trouvé que c'était un tout petit peu long à démarrer. Mais une fois qu'on est bien ancré dans l'histoire, on y reste et on rigole un bon coup, ça c'est sûr! J'ai même éclatée de rire à plusieurs reprises. Tom Hanks est vraiment drôle dans son rôle de professeur raffiné, surtout quand il se met à rire (Non, mais, quel rire!) Une bonne comédie satirique, à l'humour noir, très différente de ce qu'on peux avoir l'habitude de voir. Tel est pris qui croyait prendre!

Quel mauvais film! Je m'attendais à plus des frères Coen. Tom Hanks, étant mon acteur préféré, est toujours aussi bon, surtout que c'est pas le genre de rôle qu'on le voit jouer d'habitude. À part ça, les autres acteurs sont mauvais, l'histoire est bizarre et ce n'est vraiment pas drôle pour une comédie.

Probablement le moins bon film des frères coens... Il reste écoutable et meilleur que d'autres navets mais vraiment, on ne retrouve aucun des dialogues, personnages (sauf peut-être le général chinois) ou des actions qui nous rapellent leur style. Le virage commercial commencé avec Intolerable Cruelty continue sur la mauvaise voie.

Ce film, qui n'en est pas un de grand public, est monté comme une pièce de théâtre, I. E plein de tableaux où l'on peut reconnaître de nombreux clins d'oeil à des personnages qui ont marqué le cinéma (Charlie Chaplin entre autre) Belle performance de Tom Hanks encore une fois!! Brillante cette vieille dame!! La trame sonore est excellente et très efficace. Elle contribue à créer une ambiance chaude et colorée qui est caractéristique de cette région du sud des États-Unis. J'ai beaucoup aimé et je crois que ce genre devrait être plus souvent exploité à Hollywood, n'en déplaise à ceux qui préfèrent constamment les films "grand public" monotones et redondants.

J'ai beaucoup aimé ce film; l'humour était à mon avis fort intelligent. J'ai ri très fort du début à la fin... C'est probablement l'un des films les plus drôles que j'ai vu. Je crois que ce qui fait que plusieurs personnes n'aient pas aimé réside dans le fait qu'ils s'attendaient probablement à un film populaire, ce qui à mon avis n'est pas le cas.

Qu'est ce que les critiques ont bien pu trouver de si extraordinaire dans ce film? Je ne dirais pas qu'il est le navet du siècle, mais je ne dirais absolument pas que c'est un chef-d'oeuvre. Les blagues sont sans fondement, et le film comporte des longueurs à n'en plus finir, alors, finalement, j'en reviens au but que je ne vous conseilles pas ce film, tout simplement.

[...] Allez vous louer Le Locataire de Polansky. Vous saurez ce qu'est un vrais film subtile. Pour ma part, j'ai quitté la salle avant la fin. J'ai rarement vu un film aussi ennuyant! Tom Hanks me fesait bailler avec ses déblatérations aussi vides que mon banc lorsque j'ai décidé que javais mieux a faire que de finir le film!!!

Ce film est un vrai régal! Il est fin et subtil, il sait nous tenir en haleine tout en nous faisant passer un agréable moment de détente... je conseille ce film à tout ceux qui sont ouvert d'esprit, et qui aiment savourer des films de qualité, car il est admirablement bien interprété, et doit normalement laisser voir autre chose qu'un film "ennuyant, banal, grotesque" et autre anneries que j'ai pu lire précédemment. Les personnes qui après avoir visionné ce film, et qui ne peuvent en ressortir que ce genre de conclusions attives, sont d'après moi totalement aveugle qu'en à la qualité d'un bon film. Pour les autres vous ne serez ni déçus par les acteurs, ni par le dénouement de l'histoire.

J'ai du mal a accepter ces commentaires stérile purement dérouté de toute objectivité. J'ai l'impression que l'on se retrouve face a des spectateur de type américain Pie, qui s'attendaient a un film d'action au effect spéciaux rocambolesques... Ce film vise une certaine catégorie de personne, une certaine sous culture préférant l'humour fin au vulgaire. Il faut savoir s'ouvrir et intéragir avec le film. Voir un film ce n'est pas consommer des images, cela fait vraiment mal de voir se faire dénigrer un film de ce genre pour au simple titre qu'ils ne l'on pas compris ou qu'il n'ont su dechicher en lui les subtilité qui en font sa force. Une oeuvre ne parle pas, en soi, elle se suffit à elle même. C'est à travers soit même qu'elle nous parle, parce que c'est nous même qui l'interprètions et lui donnons un sens. Je pense que certain devraient passer leur chemin au lieu de venir dénigrer ce qu'il ne font pas l'effort de comprendre ou apprecier a juste valeur... et puis mince... vive les bofs et informez vous avant d'aller voir un film. Ce film un navet?. non mais je reve... entendre des 18 35 ans faire le même commentaire d'un enfant de 13 ans... je comprend tout à fait que ce garçon n'ai pas aimé et l'exprime ainsi... mais les autre bordel, sa serre a rien de laisser une critique pour dire 2 ligne... Ce film brille par son génie, tom hank a un role subtil, vicieusement manipulateur, un nevrosé, diplomé des lettre qu'il incarne avec virtuosité. Optez pour le benefice du doute et courez voir ce film!!

C'est vrai, ce n'est pas vraiment le film qu'on attandait des frères Coen, coonu pour leur côté décalé et complétement fou. Mais les acteur, en particulier Tom Hanks, arrive a sauver cette comédie, vraiment drôle par moment, de l'ennui total. Et bien que la morale soit assez décevante, on sort quand même avec un (petit) sourire aux lèvre, car on a quand même (un peu) rit... En bref, (un peu) décevant, mais (quand même)distraillant!

C'est la première fois que je vois sur ce forum un film aussi mal coté. J'y vois deux raisons : enfin Tom Hanks sort des niaiseries hollywoodiennes et se décide à tourner avec des vrais réalisateurs. Evidemment les amateurs de film stupides pour grand public ne peuvent pas comprendre ce film. Surtout ceux qui partent avant la fin. L'autre raison, c'est que pour les amateurs de Coen, c'est peut-être un peu plus léger et comique que d'habitude. Sauf que ca reste très ironique, et bien au delà du niveau de toutes les "comédies" américaines conventionnelles, sans la moindre vulgarité notamment. Alors si vous avez un minimum de sens de l'humour (noir) et d'esprit critique, allez-y!!!

On se calme... 5 sur 10!! Voyons donc, depuis quand les amateurs de Tom Hanks sont rendus de fines bouches? Vous voulez des drames ou des films de guerre? Bravo... mais Hanks peut aller ailleurs et de façon beaucoup plus intéressante que notre beau Mel Gibson... Il s'agit d'un film supérieur à la moyenne et qui selon moi est l'un des trois meilleurs des frères Coen... Bien sûr, il faut apprécier l'humour absurde. Mais, s.v.p., n'allez pas dire que c'est de l'humour facile... on est très loin d'American Pie ou les grandes gueules... [...]

C'est quand même drôle ce que les gens peuvent dire sur ce film. Tom Hanks est tout simplement génial dans son rôle et nous livre une superbe performance. Évidemment, ceux qui sont restés accrochés à l'image d'un Tom Hanks dans Apollo 13 ne peuvent qu'être déçus, mais ce n'est pas la performance de l'acteur qui est en cause... Pour ceux qui se plaignent du manque de crédibilité du scénario, je ne saurais trop leur recommander les nouvelles au TJ avec Bernard Derome. Et, à l'avenir, évitez les frères Coen comme la peste, ils ne s'en porteront que mieux. Très bon film pour délirer un peu...

Sachez quel film vous allez voir. Si vous ne connaissez pas les frères Cohen, vous feriez mieux de louer FARGO ou MILLER's CROSSING. Ceci n'est pas un film à tendance Hollywoodienne. Tom Hanks est absolument brillant. Ceux qui écrivent que ce film est pourri ne connaissent rien au cinéma.

Comme je m'en doutais, TOM HANKS offre une prestation hilarante digne de son talent. J'ai quand même été quelque peu déçu par le film. J'ai l'habitude de mettre la barre haute pour ce qui est du cinéma des Frères COEN et avec raison. Ils nous ont habitué à une série de films tous aussi intéressants les uns que les autres. Peut-être est-ce le fait que ça soit un remake qui freine un peu leur élan? Certes, les personnages de LADYKILLERS sont parsemés de l'humour des COEN. Les dialogues sont à la hauteur de leur talent. J'ai quand même trouvé que le film comportait quelques longueurs inutiles. Par contre, le rythme est assez bon (la plupart du temps) et on ne manque rire en compagnie de cette équipe d'énergumènes. Excellente mise en images et trame sonore divertissante!

J'ai vu la nete moyenne du film aujourd hui:5.1! Pourquoi tant de haine? C'est un très bon film, qui permet de rire au premier (souvent) et au second degre (parfois) Tom Hanks est parfait dans ce role vicieux, et sa partenaire (la lady) est tout aussi bonne dans son interpretation. Un passage d anthologie est celui sur les problemes de colon intestional d un des cambrioleurs... j'ai beaucoup ri! Au point que je me demandes si les gens qui n ont pas aime le film ne sont pas affectes par ce mal (humour bien sûr! ).. et se sont sentis vises! Si vous avez souffert le martyre en allant voir le Mel Gibson, allez vous detendre un peu en voyant les tueurs de dame (sans S s il vous plait!!! )

Il me semble que, quand tu va au cinéma et que tu regarde l'heure, c'est bien parce que le film commence a être moche. Ce film ne deviendra jamais un garnd hit et il devrai aller au Ozzie Award.

Enfin, voilà un film intelligent, loin de tous ces effets spéciaux et farces stupides et ridicules. Les frères Cohen savent regarder la société à travers le prisme des valeurs accordées à l'argent, la séduction et alors, mêmes les plus dévots se laissent berner! Et pourtant, ceux qui se croyaient les plus forts connaissent un bien triste cercueuil! Tom Hanks offre une prestation très réussie, dans un rôle tout à fait différent de ceux que nous lui connaissons. Même mes enfants de 18 et 16 ans ont beaucoup apprécié! Sortez des sentiers battus!!

Le film est pa mal. Pas hilarant, mais amusant est j'ai beaucoup sourit pendant le film. Les acteurs sont bon, et Hanks tourjours aussi performant dans un style different de ce qu'il joue habituellemnt. Ce n'est pas le film de l'année et je m'attendais tout de même a mieux. De la à dire comme certain que c'est un navet et indigne du talent de Tom Hanks, c'est exagéré et ceux qui donnent de telles critiques ne connaissent pas tant que ça le cinéma et n'ont pas d'ouverture d'esprit et de subtilité. Ce film vaut ce qu'il vaut: Un bon divertissement. Ni plus, ni moins.
