Un bon petit film sans prétention, mais qui est assez prévisible. Un drame familial assez conventionnel mais agréable dans son ensemble. Bonnes images, bons interprètes, même Jennifer Lopez est pas pire. A regarder par une journée de grisaille.

Quelle excellent film. Le genre qu'on espère qu'il dure plus longtemps. Mr Redford est excellent, Freeman ne donne pas sa place, JeLo attrayante comme a l'habitude... Paysage du Wyoming grandiose. Bref un baume pour les gens qui pense finir leur jours reclus.

J'ai bien aimé ce film. J'ai trouvé que l'histoire était belle, que les paysages étaient impressionnants et que les personnages étaient très bien joués. J'ai trouvé par contre que la réalisation était ordinaire pour les plans de caméra mais bon, le film reste à voir. C'est une oeuvre très bien.

Beau petit film américain. Le film suit bien la recette du cinéma américain. C'est beau comme film. C'est joli. Mais le scénario est prévisible! Le jeu des acteurs est solide et bon, mais Jennifer Lopez n'est pas très crédible. Mais quand même, Robert Redford est bien, Morgan Freeman, c'est pas sa meilleure performance, mais il en donne une très solide quand même. Les paysages et la musique, eux, sont à couper le souffle. Donc, les acteurs, la musique et les paysages sont les principaux bons points du film. C'est tout.

J'ai adoré ce film c'est vraiment à voir la distribution est formidable J. Lo joue très bien sont rôle ainsi que Morgan Freeman et le beau Josh Lucas. J'ai adorée et je le conseille à tout le monde c'est une belle preuve d'amour et de pardon.

C'est un film intimiste et spectaculaire, et dont le casting fait rêver. Lasse Hallström prend le temps de nous faire aimer les personnages, en apprenant pas mal de choses sur chacun d'eux, en plus l'histoire est tournée dans un très beau paysage... L'ours présent dans ce film est vraiment impressionnant, d'autant plus que c'est un vrai, et non un trucage, ce qui est rare (voir L'ours de Jean Jacques Annaud) Ce film, de manière générale, est d'une grande beauté, bourré d'idées, d'humour, et de romanesque.

à voir absolument. Décors naturels magnifiques. Redford dans sa grande force, toujours avec une pointe d'humour. On croit au scénario et il réserve des surprises. Sincérité, trame dramatique soutenue. Morgan Freeman devrait avoir un prix, aussi bien que Redford. Tous les comédiens excellents. Pas une minute d'ennui. Sortie contente d'avoir vu ce film, SURTOUT SUR GRAND ÉCRAN!

Tout simplement le meilleur film de l'année pour moi avec "Crash". On parle ici d'un drame poignant, sans artifices, sans excès mélodramatique, sans exploitation et sans clichés d'usage. Redford est à son meilleur dans un rôle très dramatique avec une performance exemplaire, et même digne d'un Oscar quant à moi. Morgan Freeman, toujours aussi sobre, offre une autre performance touchante dans un rôle plus complexe que l'on aurait pu croire au premier abord. Même Jennifer Lopez s'acquitte ici de façon fort honorable de son rôle, bien que le pivot du film soit la petite fille, Becca, qui affiche déjà ici un potentiel dramatique certain. Bref, "An Unfinished Life" est un film poignant et authentique qui représente un bon vent de fraîcheur par rapport à tous les films hollywoodiens artificiels et sans consistance que l'on a osé nous servir cette année (qui n'est pas la meilleure à date en termes de qualité de films, loin de là... )

Que dire de ce film, les acteurs sont extraordinaires, la réalisation est acceptable, le scénario est en dessous de la moyenne, moi je pense que le seul intéré de ce film c'est Robert Redford et M. Freeman, J. Lopez est bien aussi mais rien avoir avec les 2 géants du cinéma, c'est un film à voir si vous aimez les histoires de cow-boys dans le ranchs, sinon passez votre chemin, finalement le seul intéré du film c'est les acteurs.

Je suis habituellement très avare d'une cote de 10 donné à un film. À le sortie du cinéma, je me demandais ce qu'un film devait avoir pour être un chef d'oeuvre. Serait-ce une combinaison d'un excellent scénario, de moments intenses du début à la fin, des acteurs se surpassant? Et bien "An Unfinished Life" a tous ces éléments et plus encore si on y ajoute la beauté du paysage dans sa pure simplicité et que dire de la prestance de l'ours, oui je dis bien la préstance de l'ours saisie à son naturel. Est-ce un chef d'oeuvre? Je ne sais pas mais c'est proche, très proche. Sans doute un film pour les plus de 25 ans. Si vous lisez cette critique c'est peut être que vous vous demandez si le film vaut le déplacement! Tout dépend de votre tolérance à voir que du beau dans un film, sans aucun effet exagéré, sans tuerie, sans poursuite infernale. Si vous cherchez un petit bijou de film, ne manquez pas de voir celui-ci sur grand écran, vous vous féliciterez de vous être déplacé.

J'ai bien aimé... De prime abord je croyais a un genre de « remake » dans un État de l'Amérique profonde. (Wyoming) Le mélange Redford - Freeman donne une saveur nouvelle à une histoire que je pourrais qualifier de banale. Le jeu des acteurs m'a plu et l'intérêt de l'histoire est soutenu jusqu'à la fin. J'attribue une note de «8» qui tient compte des films présentement à l'affiche sur les écrans Montréalais. En décembre prochain, cela aurait été différent, période pendant laquelle les meilleurs films de l'année arrive au « box office »." Une vie inachevée " vaut la peine d'être vue en salle. [...]
