I'm sure I fit the demographic this film was targeting, and hey, it worked. I loved it. A clever, charming romantic comedy/drama that will make you heart (or whoevers') go pitter-patter. David Duchovny has that make-me- swoon-with-a- mere-smile charm. He's sweetly awkward, sexy, vulnerable, handsome - darn, why isn't that air conditioning working? Minnie Driver is as always, delightfully innocent and naughty all at once, she is a very unrated talent as far as I'm concerned. Stunning cast as well as great directing and writing. This will make you cry, and laugh, and cry and smile, mostly, it will make you smile. Sigh, I guess I don't give up on love afterall. Isn't that annoying? If this is a chick flick, bring them on...
