This was a very good war movie. It reflected the conditions of the day with startling clarity and appeared to very accurate. This is what captures your attention. You do feel for these people and hope they make it. Some do and some don't. That's war. It is only at the end of the movie that you discover that the main characters are real people who lived and fought through the battle for Stalingrad against the Germans. A good movie.
