Very disappointing. Was expecting a better display of special effects as well.

Disappointing ! Robert Downey Jr. was okay, but Mickey Rourke was awful, the story was messed up, Samuel L. Jackson's team was useless and pointless, and the whole film was a catastrophe. It was funny at times, and fun, but there was no coherence at all in Iron Man 2. A surprisingly forgettable summer flick which was very poorly executed. Not good.

I saw Iron Man 2, this is a sci-fi movie. This is the continuation of the movie Iron Man. This talked about a rich man who invented a costum of robot with nuclear energy. A person knew his secret and the power of the rich man is in danger. I think the storyline was basic but, the play of actors was good. The special effects was interesting and helped to understood. It had explosions and a lot of realist war effects. The rating of this movie is PG-13. In conclusion, my rate for Iron Man 2 is 3 popcorns on 5 and I advise this movie for the sci-fi or superheros fans.

The difference between Iron Man and Iron Man 2 can be summed up thusly... Iron Man was about development of the main character. Iron Man 2 was about development of every other character featured in the sequel, basically as a movie "commercial" for future projects.

Really liked it, even though it is not my kind of movie. Mickey Rourke was excellent as the villain; he truly stole the show. And Robert Downey Jr. is excellent as always.

This movie SUCKED!!! It seemed to me that it was to much based on Spider Man 3 (with Vemon) etc. I wouldn't see it, I saw it with friends and we all hated it!!

This was a decent movie. Not as good as the first Iron Man though, simply because we don't get enough Iron Man. Marvel keeps throwing references for the upcoming Avengers movie everywhere they can, with the Black Widow, an upcoming member of the Avengers, a character I disliked from her first words- In the comics, Black Widow is Russian, and has a Russian accent. She's had the accent for about 40 years or so, and I don't see why they couldn't give her one in the movie. We also have Nick Fury, the leader of the Avengers, who really has no point for being in the movie. He really doesn't do anything but just pop out of nowhere and give clever dialogue. We have Captain America's shield, which we already had in the first one. We have Thor's hammer. We have news footage from the Hulk thing at the college. We have too much Avengers stuff piled in here that we get too little Iron Man.

A lot of people said that the first one was better but I'll have to say that I liked them equally. The first one had to really lead up to the action while I felt that this one had a fair amount of action throughout. I was so scared of Rourke's character after seeing the trailer, but wish that he had brought on more to this role. Downey Jr. is fantastic as always and the comedy is still there. Soundtracks are only good when you notice them and this one was great.

It was okay. I'm a fan of Iron Man and thought the first movie was great. This movie, not so great but certainly not horrible. Wasn't that crazy with the characterization of Jim Rhodes. There seemed to be way too many Iron Man type suits and it kinda made Stark's Iron Man seem less special. Stick around for a short scene after the credits. And contrary to what the credit say, Brian Johnson didn't co-write the song Highway to Hell, Bon Scott did.

The first movie far surpassed this one... the story line in this was unclear, there was a lot of unnecessary special-effects and random fighting scenes that seemed to be thrown in just for the point of showing this movie was in fact an action one. Gwenith Paltrow was absolutely horrible, and seemed to have lossed her character in this one. In the first movie, her relationship with Tony and her acting was just spot on and refreshing, but in this one, most of it was just awkward and stupid. Then, there were many cheesy jokes thrown into the movie in an attempt to be funny, which really didn't work out that much. Everything was just, really, a collection of failures. And definitely, I am making this movie out to be much worse than it was. I guess it's because after the first one, your expectations are set very high, and it's a pity to see them crushed with this one. So I guess, to conclude, I'll say it was "Not bad, could be much better."

Not sure what people mean when they say this had no plot. It had a great plot involving more Tony Stark than Iron Man in his arms race with Justin Hammer. Rourke was great as the villain as well.

This movie is good overall. There is not a lot of depth to the plotlines like original. There was some artistic element and music theme that was missing from the original film. Lastly, sometimes the movie felt more like a cash grab and marketing ploy than good storytelling.

Honnestly, if I could, I would of probably done a better job filming the movie myself! First of all, people can't find any resemblance with the characters wich I for one think is essentiel in a movie. Secondly, whiplash get's smacked in a wall by a car at like 80km... and he still get's up... and later on he has no probleme what so ever, sorry after that your at least sitting in a wheel chair for the rest of your life! I thought it wasn't realistic enough and the fight seens didnt really pack that much of a punch and last but not least, Whiplash dies WAY TOO FAST AND EASILY! Like in Iron Man 1 The last Fight lasts at least 10 mins this one not even 3 mins... very upset by the movie.

No storyline-very predictable-lousy acting from everyone except O'Rourke. Why S. Johansoon was chosen for this movie? What a mistake! Effects were all good-but you would expect more considering success of the first film. Was not properly thought-which is often the case. WAIT FOR THE VIDEO!! To think of even doing a 3rd one... what a joke!

Poorly done. This looks like a cash grab for their success from a great first movie. Plot very underdeveloped and the chracters lacked depth. Very disappointing and predictable.

Not as engaging as the first movie. Plot was weak. While Whiplash's motivation became clear, his character was not very developed. Other characters - Stark, Rhodes, Potts - were mainly caricatures of themselves. No real suspense in the story. Action scenes were good and worth the price of admission.

Expectations are always higher for the sequel. More action, more iron man, more villains, but less humor, flow and audience engagement. It was okay on some scenes! Lower your expectations.

I loved the fight b/w Iron Man & the russianbot, it was nice to see Iron Man vulnerable and to give his character more humanizing (with more details about his father) They really didn't play up the romance part but it is an action movie, but am surprised there was not more visual effects!

It could have more plot, and more action scenes. The group helping Stark with his new heart should have been better explained - they seemed to come out of nowhere. I was confused. There wasn't enough action between Iron Man and Whiplash either, just lots of building and waiting... But still a fairly good movie for when it came out. Probably not in the sumer tho.
