While this isn't as laugh out loud funny as some others by Mel, moments are precious. More subtle, trying to stay in the moment of the genre sometimes holds him back, unlike with The Producers or History of the World Part 1 (it's good to be the King...) or Young Frankenstein or Spaceballs, etc. Insulting to all and none, Brooks walks a silly, twisted line that will keep many of us laughing well into the future... and beyond. Thank you, sir, no gift is greater than that from the heart and these gifts of laughter are definitely from the heart.
