I would die to see Heath in the flesh. I think he is totally fit, thier was a part in the film that I just loved. At one point he had a beard and long hair. But when he came up the top of the hill. That sexy face made me go weak at the knees I did fall off my feet, I thought I was going to faint!!!

This was a wonderful movie. Chaucer would have loved this treatment of of his Knights Tale. I hope it that it inspires the production team - esp. The writers - to come up more movie adaptations of his Tales (esp. The Nun's Tale)

I thought this movie was interesting, but really inacurate. I have to do a project on how it doesn't portray the medieval time well, and I can't find any sites!

I did see A Knight's Tale, in fact my hubby and I saw it twice as we both enjoyed it. It seemed to have such a variety of things I enjoy in a movie, comedy, love, action, etc. And I was surprised when my hubby asked if we could see it again. P.S. (not too often we agree on a movie).

"A Knight's Tale" is a film that doesn't seem to be able to decide if it's a comedy or a drama. At first when I started watching the film I felt as though it worked rather well. However at one point I was lost and confused and never regained. A bit of the content in the film has pretences and can be draining at times. The film seems to last way above its real running time. Some aspects that worked well were the supporting characters and subtle Chaucer jokes. However I'm afraid that most were too subtle for the general audience to understand. The beginning of the film shows much more promise than the rest of it. Overall the film is not too bad. It can be watched by Chaucer scholars, or the entire family. I somehow doubt that I would watch the movie again, but I can't say that watching it for the first time was such a horrible waste of my time. I did find it entertaining, especially at the beginning.

A person who goes to a movie and all they have to say about it is how historically inaccurate it is - What's wrong with this person? You go to a movie to escape and to be entertained. A Knight's Tale surprisingly enough is an excellent movie. I am talking on a total entertainment level. I am surprised that this movie didn't stay that long in the local theatre. It had seemed to me that by the time I wanted to go and see it... It was already gone. Anyways, the acting was great. The direction was superb. I mean there was a reason for the "specific" dance sequence and the "We will Rock You" sound track. I found that it added to the movie rather than take away from it. Yes there were a few cheesy moments. But overal the movie goer was kept in his/her seat the entire movie.

Very, very good. Edward was THE sexiest male in it, would have liked to have seen more of him. Surreal, fun, go watch it and ignore the humourless unimaginative people below who say it was historically innaccurate... It was never meant to be a teaching aid!

I loved the movie it was the best, other than Pearl Harbour but Heath was soo hot and the movie was really funny but also sad. I think there should be more movies made like that with the action romance comedy. I could watch the movie over and over again.

How come no one has mentioned RUFUS SEWELL yet? He played count Adhemar very well, and his experience in filming added to the movie. Who else could have pulled off the part anyway? One more question: why r there so many peple taking this film so seriously? It probably wasn't ment to be a period piece, you should enjoy it for the fun that it was.

Yep. Saw it last week - couldn't help it, am addicted medieval buff. Really loved the anachronisms/humour a la Xena/Hercules complete with grand medieval drama and rock music. Cherry on top: Paul Bettany as Geoffrey Chaucer - utterly hilarious and fantastically acted. This movie put me in a good mood for three days.

There are just not enough medieval movies! Keep 'em coming. Looking past the rock music, the movie provided a much needed view of historical life and chivalric values for the younger person. First movie I have seen with a direct reference to Edward Plantaganet The Black Prince (Flower of All Chivalry), There should be a movie about him. All in all, excellent entertainment and Geoff Chaucer had us in stitches. Definitely will be in my library.

The idea was interesting. The soundtrack left to be desired. This felt more like a Disney film than a period piece. The princess was wearing modern clothing and the female sidekick Ironsmith had a useless role. Heath kept your attention throughout the movie and shows star power but all in all this is definitely a teen flick.

Everyone that replied here took this movie WAY too seriously- not historically accurate? When was the last time a good movie WAS historically accurate? The only part I didn't like was all of the drool falling everywhere. *Rolls her eyes* Can't you find someone cuter? And I very much wish he would've fallen for the blacksmith...
