I laughed so loud, I thought I was going to get thrown out of the theatre when I first saw this film! Now that's intelligent humour. Jack Nicholson's portrayal of the neurotic, self-centred, yet compassionate individual was masterfull. You can look at him and say, "Hey, I know people like that! ". It was great. No punches were pulled.
