Well, what should I say about this movie? If you have read the book, this movie is nothing compared to the book. The movie probably only use half of the story line in the book, and frankly it didn't exactly follow the development of the story in the book. I don't mind watching movie adaptation from books and I don't mind the story is changed to fit in movie screen, however, I guess I am disapppointed because the movie did not show as much depth as the book does. The last movie I saw was "Lord of the Rings" and this movie too have changed it's story line a little compared to the books but the feel and the depth is there. I couldn't say the same thing about "The Count of Monte Cristo" though. Still, it is an entertaining movie and it does contain the simplified form of the incredible story so the plot is still very exciting.
