Was what I had expected. Very well done that brought lots of emotions.

A Beautiful Mind was dull at times, but it was emotionally captivating and kept me intrigued because it was so emotional.

I like movies about people - this being one of them. The person the movie is about is very interesting and surprising how someone of this caliber of intellect still has problems you would not think someone like that would have. But shows that in the end we are all the same no matter who we are - and if we try we can overcome our obstacles. Don't know much about the actual person - but Russell Crow did a great job in portraying him -- was believable - he seems to have good range (based on the roles he played).

This was a very touchy film but the story ended up in a very happy ending. Having someone like John Forbes Nash who had been considered a person who had a brain and was a genious, he still had a struggled life but things turned out for the better for him at the end which made this story more interesting and quite involving to watch.

This by far one of the best movies ever made. Russel Crowe shows why he worth 15 million a movie. Jennifer Connelly gives a very strong performance as the long suffering wife. The movie itself touches on some very strong emotions and really draws the viewer into a world that may or may not be. The twist ending with the spys actually caught me off guard as I did not know what this movie was about when I went in. Triumph of man over himself is the best kind of story. A beautiful mind is the c'est kind of movie.

This was a very good movie. It really let me know what goes on in the mind of someone with this condition. I know someone who suffers from this illness and he is very intelligent, but has been batteling it for a long time, with little success. The acting in this movie was Fabulous. The fact that it was based on a true story is astounding.

I thought the movie was great! I had to watch it for my abnormal psychology class, it really help me put the course into perspective and realize that all people have problems they challenge on a day to day basis. It was awesome how John Nash, overcame his problem with the help of friends, family, Dr's and therapist that really cared. To me thats what life is all about working out the problem and continue to go forward no matter what!

Sorry all, I thought this film was simply awful for many reasons- most important I feel it gives the viewer an innappropriate meassage about mental illness, being able to be "fixed "by love and support from a great looking sexy spouse- it isnt like that. In addition it was so SLOW moving.

Great story, great acting, great directing. At the end of it all though, it was not a masterpiece. I think Apollo 13 was a better Howard movie. Great, yes, but would I have given it best picture, no.

I went to see this thinking, yes another Russell Crowe movie. He is such an excellent actor that in 5 minutes he isn't Russell Crowe, he's John Forbes Nash Jr. Loved this movie, bought it as soon as it came out. Crowe deserved the Oscar for his performance!!!

This movie was magnificent. Russell Crowe was magnificent. The movie being someone's real life was a great ideal. The people who wrote this movie knew just what they were doing.

A beautiful mind... a beautiful story! It had been a long time since I had the pleasure to see such a moving and intense story. The performance of Russell Crowe was amazing... and that's coming from someone who really did not "care" for that actor. Bravo! Bravo to Dr Nash!

An excellent movie! Actor and actress' performance are great. Good story line, a good teaching topic and example to the young, that ones can succeed if he does not give up goals and believes.

This was one of the greatest movies I ever watched. First of all it gave me a first hand look at this mental disorder. The plot was excellent. It sure had me fooled. I thought he was working for the government. I had no idea it was all à part of his illness. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE.

Yawnopoly... yawnsville. I was shocked at how boring this movie was after all the fuss. Did I miss something? Russell Crowe, sorry, I just don't see it, he's ok I guess, but generally, I had to force myself to keep watching... and to stay awake.
