Alan Rickman is fabulous as the sheriff. He lifts the movie. Interesting, politically correct twist to cast Morgan Freeman as Robin's right hand man. It was well done and didn't dtract from the movie. Costner did ok as Robin, not the role he was born to play, but he pulled it off well enough. Overall this was a good entertaining movie, well worth spending an evening with.
