After seeing MBN I was not surprised it was not well-received. People seem to like Sandra Bullock as Miss Congeniality, America's Sweetheart and in this one she isn't. She is a strong woman with isues to work through. I quite enjoyed it and I think she did well in this role. At least she's not afraid to try. The plot itself was a bit obvious at times, but I think we were supposed to be entertained by the texture of the plot, not the substance. Ryan Gosling (remember him as little Hercules?) was very annoyingly good; Ben Chaplin, as always was sweetly good. Should have been called, Free To Be Me. Uh-huh.
