The nice thing about "Chamber of Secrets" is how our very talented characters are starting to mature. Harry can deal pretty well now with the Dursley muggles, and has gained a magical friend, Dobby the house elf, who adds to his prestige as a wizard. He also has discovered and made a terrific impression with his best friend Ronald's mysterious sister Virginia. As a subplot, Ronald and Hermione too have become much more aware of each other in a positive way, but these three close companions and their Gryphendor associates together are growing very strong as a force for overcoming the evil of Slytherin and Voldemort who hate people without wealth and inherited social status. This sequel is a fabulous continuation of the "Sorceror's Stone.".
