Definitely the best of the franchise to date. Brings back the best of the first movie (gritty Wolverine) and develops some of the younger students (Iceman, Pyro) and really lets the audience buy into Magneto and Xaviers relationship.

I like the first x-men movie but this one doesn't try to stick with the origin of phoenix from the beginning since this movie is more focused on wolverine it should have been but with the three plots in the film made me not like the film because it didn't match the original story line for anyone the idea to have manipulated mutants and have the strongest telekinetic is an apocolypse story line the coming of phoenix never happens on earth in both ultimate and the new and old x-men comics wolverine's past doesn't have to dell anything with a guy named striker in fact striker is not even an x-men character in wolverine's past but in this film it is which gets me pissed off because it is Dr. Corneillus that gives James howlett his adamantium claws and reveals his past in a video that had Logan's name on it. For me the action is superb but everything else is a piece of s**t in this movie except for the acing I hate the story there is no plot well there is but it's not like it is new and the character development is not strong enough.

It's hard to improve upon perfection but this movie does that very nicely as Wolverine's mysterious past unveils itself and Colonel William Stryker and his unmatched hatred for mutants is revealed as he begins to set his diabolical plan to destroy all mutants in motion only one team can stop him the X-men...

I loved X-Men 2: United!! I loved William Stryker and his accomplice, Deathstrike because they kicked @$$! But I am not saying that I hate those X-Men! Matter of the fact, I do think they rock! I love it when they put little teasers about Beast and Gambit in it! I loved when Siryn screamed the SWAT to the bleeding hell, Colossus became metal, Shadowcat a. K. a Kitty phased through her bed to the floor below and kept running and phasing through the walls to avoid the SWAT. I am so happy to see more actions from Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, Pyro, Xavier, Magento, Mystique, Rogue, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Shadowcat, Siryn, and Colossus! There better be Gambit, Beast, Jubilee, Archangel, and a way more from Shadowcat, Siryn, and Colossus in the next movie: X3!!

X-men 2 was the best movie I've seen in years, I am practially addicted to it now. Brian Cox's role as William Stryker was amazing he was in the zone, amazing simply amazing and Bruce Davidson's role as Senator Kelly was also amazing. If you haven't seen it go see it it is worth it belive me. Great movie no amazing!

The x-men 2 movie was very great to see. The first movie was ok but the kids did not learn very much. Like kitty jubilee and so on! Jean dies but she comes like phoenix. The third movie is about kitty or jean!

I just loved both of the X-Men movies. I recommend that anyone who hasn't seen either of them to see them as soon as possible. I was pleased ro finally get to see Wolverine lose control and just go crazy. Bravo on the screenplaying on that part! The movie is a must see, can't wait for the third one to come out. :)

I have bones to pick with this one... but they all really date back to the original one. There are so many things that are wrong with the characters and being an collector of the X-Men comics since I was a little girl, it ticks me off to watch my favorite character and hate her more than anything because she isn't ROGUE at all... she's a new concoction with the same name and the same powers. It all started with the script... and then continued on with the choice to have Anna Paquin play her. Oooh... bad choice. HOWEVER... besides all the things I hate about it because I love the comics and they aren't even similar in some areas... this movie still had me freaking out in theatres because of how truly great it was.

Overall, I really liked this movie. I though the ending was awesome, when you see Jean under the water, it was so obious that she was turning into Phenox through the whole movie! I loved it, I am definitely going to buy this when it comes out on DVD.
