Absolutely perfect. This epic series was filmed over 3 years time with breathtaking photography and incredible special effects. It truely conveys the trial times of soldiers at war. The cast is stellar and emotionally engaging! One of the episodes was brilliantly directed by Tom Hanks. A true gem!

Unquestionably the best movies I've ever seen. The story of E Company of the 506th is one I've enjoyed studying for some time and I'm glad that they made such a good representation of them in cinema. The acting was solid, the scenes were mostly accurate to the vet's descriptions, the battles were intense. A certain emotion takes hold of you while watching this movie, I can't describe it. Truly a masterpiece.

Band of Brothers was an incredible movie because it was educational and honorable. The emphasis on each character, different personalities banding together for freedom and peace. It was enlightening to learn about history and war and the struggles that war brought to each man, it was a great privilege to hear the veterans talk about their personal experiences during war time-it was important and is just one of those things that you never forget when the veterans share their memories from the start of the war to the end of the war. A definite must see movie!

What can be said about this seris would only diminish the greatness of story. These were truely the greatest heroes and should be looked up to as heroes. These men are greater than any singer or jock or actor who the public seem to make heroes of. These men were and still are some of the bravest men in the world. We owe them we should remember.

This box set is simply beautiful. If you are a fan of war movies, and even if you aren't, this should definitely be a part of your collection.

Being a WWII, in active combat in the Navy in the Pacific theatre, I relived the depravation of fighting a war, and this film was a tribute to us WWII vets for all to see.

Band of Brothers is the best mini-series/movie I have ever seen! It truly is a masterpiece. I've owned it since it was first released on dvd and I've watched it at least 50 times and I could never get tired of it. If anyone out there enjoyed Saving Private Ryan then you will definitely love this WWII Epic Masterpiece. Definitely worth the money 10 fold. Enjoy!! :-)

Best movie EVER! Highly doubt much will compare (except maybe the NEW 10 part war film that Hanks and Spielberg are doing, which is based in the Pacific)

Outstanding. This is a phenomenal story of honour, bravery and sacrifice. Our generation can't begin to imagine how the men and women who fought for our freedom must have felt... the things they endured... beyond belief! To anyone who hasn't seen the DVD set, do. Not only for the series, but sit, watch and enjoy the special features. These are the men who where there.

VERY rarely do I ever give a film 10 stars... perfect. But Band of Brothers is an epic. The special effects are amazing and the acting is top of the line. But the best part of the movie is how they don't depict everyone as a big hero who goes out and kills 1000 enemies. (like the complete flop... Windtalkers - Worst war movie mad in this decade) It is very realistic in the way many soldiers were very scared and didn't want to shoot the enemy... Didn't even want to be there but they were and formed a brotherhood type thing with thier fellow soldiers. The 10 hour film depicted the war against the germans and the war within each soldier. Excellent work. This, saving private ryan, and black hawk down are the best war films made in history.

Long live to the 101st Airborne Company "E" Easy!
