Brilliant cinematography, great soundtracks. I found myself completely immersed into it a couple of minutes after the film started. Has made me realize life can be beautiful & fun, reminded me that I am still very young & should go out and pursue my dreams!

I found this movie to be "VERY WELL DONE". A perfect amount of romance combined with humor and how we struggle to find who we truly are. I recommend this movie to everyone, young and old. Enjoy!

Not just for the young... but for the young at heart also. A reminder that life is full of adventure and wonderful people, for those who will dare to reach out for it... We have so much to teach and to learn from one another...

This was one of the funniest movies that I have ever seen. Even though I saw it in french without subtitles, I understood it just well enough. It is definitely a MUST-SEE1.

Touching and brilliantly done. Great movie, especially for those who have lived abroad as an exchange student or who have spent some time backpacking. You will relate very much to these characters and their experiences. French is easy to follow for those who are anglophone.

Cheezy, weak, nothing out of the ordinary. I was always afraid that the main guy's nerves were going to break down and he would pee his pants. How hard is it to come out of your cocoon? Even this supposed "foreign environment" all that he could do was fornicate with his closest compatriot. Sloppy storyline, weak plot, cheezy.

Wonderful, humerous 2 hours without even having to fly 6 hours away to relive the vibrancy and diversity of Europe, which was reflected in the 3 different languages switching around in the movie. Great filming and story line, refreshing from usual Hollywood styles. Here, the guy doesn't find the girl, but a bit of himself instead...

Very good movie. It's your classic coming of age movie with a few twists. Very different from Hollywood movies, the acting is good and all the caracthers are very believable.

This movie is one of my favorite of all time it is funny yet not in a slapstick way. It is smart and relates to all people in one way or another. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time yet learn something in the process.

This movie allows you to watch a part of life that you may or may not have taken part in. For those who partook in these adventures this movie will leave you with the re-emergence of fond memories of a times past, but for those who never had the opportunity or courage to go ahead with such an escapade will be tickled pink with having been allowed a voyeuristic look. Many of life's experiences deserve to be captured on film and shown to the masses and this story is definitely worthy. Bravo!

A good showing of effort, creativity, and restlessness. Sidetracked by lack of a plot line, shabby character development, a sense of being absorbed with itself, and a quick, defacto ending. You can tell, it was made by whom it was made for. Essentially a kunstlerroman, the coming of age not only of the protagonist but also of the new euro generation middle class kids who come to terms with rebellion of the individual, the pleasures of youth, and the burdens of expectations. While aiming for depth and orginality - both very much achieved, it is not afarid to both rely on the cliche of hip (pot jokes, drunk scenes, mtv chilling) and yet also try to distance itself from it. The graphic deisgn and playful pace start out strong, and neat, but disappear, probably so as not to undermine the film's seriousness. The film is serious, but only seems to stratch the surface of all it wants to take on. The lead male is given a realistic and consistent set of characteristics, which is good. The ending, while not predictable or a sell out to hollywood, it is a clear endorsement of the film makers' own idealogy. It is a pretty optimistic film. The last line is tactfully brillant, but that end scene is a little lame. The best line is easily his reamark "I must be typical." It strikes at the heart of every young adult, myself included.

This film was magical. The casting for this film was excellent. The writing was cutting edge emotional and yet the plot was so simple. The World could use more films like this one, at this time in our lives.

I absolutely loved it. If you are someone who is afraid to get caught up in the routine and who hungers for travel it is definitely a movie to go see. If you are looking for a movie with a climax and a happily ever after ending (aka Hollywood) - then this movie isn't for you. It depicts what a good french movie is all about. With that being said, you really should go see it in its original language.

I actaully went to see another movie, which we were late for so was a tad disappointed when I went in to see this one but within 5 mins of it starting, I had totally forgotten about the 'other movie'. Great 20-something, euro film that we can all relate to!!! Now I want 5 roomies! ;)
