A very beautiful and engaging movie that gets you attached to the characters of the story making every event cause strong feelings in the audience. The acting was as good as I have ever seen, and the story was riveting. I seen this for the first time at 14 and every time I have the option to see it again it is my first choice. To all people who have nothing negative to say and claim you seen in it x number of times, you should include why you did not give it a 10/10.

It's one of those gem of a movie that made 3 hrs. Go by quickly and leaving you wanting more. One of a few movie that I would watch many times because it's that great. A moving story, helped by some great performances primarily by Michael Clarke Duncan. Tom Hanks, and the supporting cast. A masterpiece in IMO.

It's outstanding entertainment. Tom Hanks is simply amazing in this. The story is perfect, the directing, writing, and atmosphere is spellbinding and remarkable. This movie is rock solid and great. This attraction didn't please the critical eye, and you can definitely see why, but I thought this was great. It's riveting fun.

The best movie I have ever seen, Tom Hanks does the best he has ever done and it so touching it makes you laugh it makes you cry it makes feel every emotion in your body it's a must see movie the only thing that might make feel people bad about it is that is 3 hours long! But that personaly didn't bug me. 10 healing giants out of 10.

It's a truth story and also invigorate our feeling of going through about the innocent person who tried to save the human by using his own might, miracle and sense. Sometimes it's come from the natural of god. Nobody can accept this situation unless he prove what he has. Only a few people in this world who has this capability. There are also a few people can feel what will happen in the next day, year, or future. This movie gives us the moral or concerned with right about the life. I hope, for those who loves this movie can share with me and have a good description in it.

I read the books in class, and I watched the movie just the other night. The movie was not as good as the book, but they never are. I found the movie long but at the same time I couldn't turn it off, the movie was great The characters did a great job. My favorite character was Brutal though.

This is one of THE BEST, and I mean THE BEST movies I ever saw. Poor, poor people that think it's boring, or too emotional, or too long. They miss a lot. Too bad it didn't get an Oscar, the movie's worth 10000000000.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. Loved the bad guard. Of course Hanks is great as the good guard. The man who played the role of the central prisoner was great. All around great writing and acting made this film work wonderfully as an entertaining piece.

Great, great, great, Also very sad, but the actors were marvlous and I should say that Tom Hanks diserves more than Oscars or Academy awards. The movie made some of my female friends cry so I really think it was a strong hard beliefes film. And again Tom Hanks was terrific!!!

One of the saddest movie I have ever seen. The movie Green Mile's insufficiency changed to impression as the audience's mourning. Relationship between John Coffey and Paul Edgecomb is made me cry. Furthermore, the movie was incredible combination among the fantasity, impression and horror. Foremost, it was really huge and extraordinarily good movie.

The green mile was really good movie, but there was some problem with length, story and death penalty. Firstly, length of the film was really long even though story was short. Some parts were too long that made me bored. Like Paul Edgecomb's important thing. It didn't make any effective on the movie, just John Coffey's special power. Secondly, story tried hard to achieve optimism, but they failed because there was so many evil that were so powerful. If John Coffey could get out of jail to be doctor because of his extraordinary power in his body, the film could achieve optimism. Furthermore, the electric chair's death penalty was barbaric that I couldn't see really well. Especially Del's death was extremely barbaric. In conclusion, if the film was short, make story happy and electricity tobe not so barbaric, it would have been more good movie..

The Green Mile was the most outstanding movie I have ever seen! The acting, story and plot were excellent. It was definately original. Even though it was three hours long, it didn't drag on. Every moment was essential and very moving. If I were to recommend a movie, this one would be on the very top of my list.

What could I say, it was amazing. The film didn't feel as if it was 3 hours, thats when you know a movie was great. Anybody who complains about this movie doesn't know what a great film is. I could easily watch it for a second time. It was just great, I just regret that I didn't see it at the theatres.

Excellent film. A few touching, 3-Kleenex moments. At least three or four characters are developed through very capable acting. Beautiful story. Expression of themes and delivery of messages are very well done. Depiction of some moments does, however, seem to be Hollywoodized for the "benefit" of the viewer, and results in a slightly less than perfect score.

I liked Tom Hanks in the movie but found it too long, simplistic character development, you knew who was good and bad, right from the beginning, no complexity. Whole point of the movie I think was to make us think what you see is not always what u think. The whole point of giving Hanks's character a urinal infection was so that the big guy can grab his nuts and not have the audience gasp and say "what the heck? ! " or having M. Duncan's character go up peak into the governor's wife's room (cinematography made it seem as if he was thinking of raping her or something), then ends up french kissing her to heal her tumor... ya, ok. Then they still fry the guy. Sure we get an explanation of how he wants to die, cuz of all the pain he's feeling. Suspension of disbelief was too difficult for this movie.

Wow!!!!! This movie was great!! Tom Hanks did it again. The whole crew was excellent. Best movie I haven't seen in a long while. Great messages in this movie... Gets you wondering about these super natural events!!! Maybe there are angels on this earth! I recommend this movie to everyone.
