I am vey worried about the world, I read reviews and they're all like, this is terrible, it's stupid, Mike Meyers is an idiot, blah blah blah. People, it's a children's movie, it's supposed to be funny and silly and you know what, it is. It is really silly. Good. It is really funny. Good. Mike Meyers is all his silly characters rolled into one. Good. It's Dr. Suess, it's not rocket science. No blood. No violence. And the children walked out laughing. I'd say this movie did it's job and then some. Maybe people think that growing up means losing your sense of joy and wonder and silliness, no, it is keeping all those while accepting being responsible, reliable and rational. This movie was funny, what else did you want from it?
