Magical. The animation was lifelike and beautiful. It brought back back childhood memories about Santa and his elves and the magic in believing.

The Polar Express is kind of hard to follow (the storyline), and it's pretty weird when you see it like ten times in half a month (example who did it-me), but it's Image Movers Digital, the best quality of animation out there. But the good thing about it is it's funny in some spots.

It was magical and the Christmas spirit was there nonetheless, however, this didn't raise the bar for me like I expected. An almost disappointing feature. This had potential of being a classic animated picture.

This movie could be better. It is not entertaining all through and the characters are not well-developed. You don't end up relating to them or feeling attached to them as you should. Qualities of characters that would endear you to them are introduced but not developed which makes this movie not that great. This is from an adult perspective. From a kid perspective, it might be okay but even then it needs to be more entertaining.

The animation was so realistic, and every detail was perfect. The story was amazing and very emotional. It was just a story that someone could relate to emotionally and still enjoy a tale of fantasy.

What age group was this movie directed at? I definitely wouldn't take a small child to see it, as there are scenes that would be quite disturbing for anyone under the age of... let's say... 9. But any child over the age of 11 or so would be extremely bored after the first 5 minutes. The moral of the movie was absolutely ridiculous and the story line was absurd in an almost uncomfortable way. The characters were extremely cliche and made no attempt to connect with the audience whatsoever. This is one of those movies that's almost so laughably bad that it makes it enjoyable to watch... almost.

Last year I saw "The Polar Express" and I thought it was an incredable movie and bought it yesterday on DVD. Finally I saw it again in 3D and it was even better than the year before. Things that I have forgotten and saw different things (thanks to 3D) Tom Hanks was great, as usual, playing all of the male parts. He generated a warm and fuzzy feeling. The animation was clean and was very presice. You can't appreciate the movie until you see it on 3D. The Polar Express is a must film to see and I highly recommend it.

Anyone that has this picture rated below 8 did not let himself go within himself when he did believe in Santa as a child. I'm 75 years old and as soon as the picture started, I went back in time with tears in my eyes. What memories this picture brought me, thanks a million times...

I dont know why this movie has such a high rating? I thought it was boring and there was no real likable characters. I can understand why they are rereleasing it. It was a flop the first time in the theatre and I havent heard anything about the film since last Christmas when it opened. [...] this has a very high average and I thought it sucked!!
