Very entertaining! Harrison Ford is always great!

This movie is really good. It's your typical hollywood action/thriller movie, but its pretty good. I think that the last 30 minutes got out of control, like if the director was tired and ran out of good ideas, but the whole thing was good. Its worth renting the dvd.

A moderately entertaining thriller. The premise has been executed better in other films, most recently in Hostage starring Bruce Willis. Harrison Ford may not have been the best casting since I found the climatic fight very unconvincing. His age is starting to show. This 60-year-old computer geek should have had his butt handed to him.

Harrison Ford is too old for these kind of movies, not convincing and the plot is really empty and action movies are my favorite so this was a let-down.

Not to bad for the majority, but it had a terrible ending. Had the ending been different I think it would have improved the movie dramatically. It was a typical Harrison Ford movie with his typical character, therefore if you like him and his "type" of movies I am sure that you will enjoy it.

Typical and pretty much terrible. I normally like Harrison Ford but he sucked in this movie. Goofy plot that you've seen a million times before. The thing that bugged me the most was the fact that Harrison's character (who is a big shot security guy) made his house alarm code the name of his boat... I don't think so.

A tense, fast-moving thriller, very enjoyable.

Very basic storyline. Very preditable entire way through. Ford is a great actor but at times ends up overacting some scenes, probably to make up for weaknesses in the storyline. Save your money, go elsewhere.

I was impressed with this movie. There were several twists that made it more interesting. It did have a slow start though, and I almost fell asleep. It did pick up and was quite suspensful through to the end. Harrison did a good job.

This movie was ok, not great compared to a lot of other movies with Harrison Ford. It was action-packed, and there were definitely scenes that had you at the edge of your seat, but the ending left me a little bit dissatisfied - was a little too "perfect". But I suppose if that's what people want when they go to the movies, then this movie is for them. Worth seeing, maybe just a renter though.

A bit better than a 'renter'. Ford still has charisma but he's becoming less believable as an action hero. Some of the plot was pretty far-fetched but the movie is still entertaining.

Harrison Ford puts on a great performance in this movie. As usual though, he seems calm and down to earth. He doesn't lose his cool, and does as he's told, for the most part. I enjoyed the ending where he gave the bad boys a run for their money and beat, killed them all in the end. Walking up the deserted road with his family at the end was truly a nice ending.

Bad movie. Plot all over the place. Typical storyline. Script really bad. Acting really bad. Only good thing about the movie is I get to enjoy Vancouver Canada where they shot parts of the movie..

Good movie, but did not care for the ending. But I did like the turn around that Harrison Ford did to the kidnappers. Actually the only part I didnt like was the ending.

I really enjoyed this movie, it had lots of twists in it. It also had a bonus of having both Harrison Ford and also Paul Bettany :)!

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Lots of action and suspense. Ford does a terrific job in his role as Jack Stanfield. I especially liked the scene when he tries to break his family out of his house. Overall, great movie. Go see.

Decent Ford movie, but pretty much like everything he has done before - and some scenes are just downright unbelievable. This guy fights off a bunch of attackers half his age? Yeah right. Interesting story, entertaining but barely a thumbs up.

This movie lacked sexual content. The plot was good, the acting was ok, but the dog was the best part..

Harrison Ford is still my hero, in this film more or less recycling that ol' family as hostage now I must do I best to kill the bad guys without hurting them formula. A tech thriller without the annoying jargon. Slightly insulting of the audience though, in terms of how the plot is addressed. But once again... It Is A Harrison Ford Film.

I have to tell you that I was quite sceptical going to see Firewall after reading a couple reviews but it was either that or Freedomland which had worse reviews. I was pleasantly surpised and glad I choose Firewall. It was very intense and I was sitting on the edge of my chair for the whole movie. I thought it was very well done up until the last 5 minutes as I wasn't found of the ending, but all in all it was worth the $12.00.

Harrison Ford was typical Harrison Ford in this movie. There was also a lot of technological stuff thrown in that would never actually work. Still it wasn't too bad thanks to the storyline, although the ending was a bit weak.

This movie is one of the best movies that I've seen in quite a while. It wasn't too predictable, but I think that they could of picked better actors... I dont think that they were too convincing.

How could anything with Harrison Ford in it not be a greaaat film! It kept you on the edge of your seat constantly & was a real thriller, as promised. Terrific acting by all - but I must say that I think Harrison is getting a bit old for these parts with the young wife & family. Although he did an exquisite job of acting the part - he is definitely beginning to show his age too much. Loved the movie though!

Exactly like hostage with Bruce Willis. Harrison Ford is too old to beat up a 20 year old and is an unbelievable computer geek.

The action resemble very much of what has been seen before. Nevertheless, acting by Harrison Ford is worth seeing, especially the finale.

This movie reminded me of the movie "Hostage" with Bruce Willis. The only difference is that Hostage had alot more action. The movie Firewall was kind of slow.

I just couldn't seem to get into the movie. I love movies that you get lost in so that you don't see the time go by. I just didn't get that into this one. It seems to be a cookie cutter movie with little out of the ordinalry to make it memorable.
